Im thinking of buying dvd burner. But there are so many types. DVD-R DVD+R DVD-RW DVD+RW.
what is difference between + and -? and can i burn movies and play them in my dvd player?
 
Just get a dual format burner, easy as that. You can burn movies, depending on your DVD player, they may or may not play. Check dvdrhelp.com for more information

As far as you're concerned there is no difference. As for your dvd player, check out dvdrhelp.com and look it up in the compatibility list. Unless its over 4 years old, it probably plays back both - and +
