I have a Cendyne DVD-RW and everyother dvd I burn ends up with a "Power Calibration Error". Could this be a sign of Power Supply troubles? I am thinking so, but I am still uncertain. I really dont want to spend what little money I have on a new PS if I dont have too. Here is what I have
Gutted HP Machine in a New Case
Amd Athlon XP 1700+
512MB of ram
ATI Radeon 8500LE 64MB
52x24x52 CD-RW
4X DVD-R 2X DVD-RW 16X CD-R 8X CD-RW 42X - CDROM
SB Audigy 2 Platinum With 5 1/4 bay module
250W HP Quality PS
I say HP quality because many knowledgable people have told me that HP is known for using good quality Power Supplies because of the potential problems they can create for their customers.
I probably need a new PS, I am thinking Antec 400W.
