DVD burn time

I have an external sony dvd 2x burner. Is 3 hours normal burn time using USB1.1? What would going firewire or usb2.0 do to the time?

Seems about right as some won't even work through that proticol and if you used it with 2X Media at USB HiSpeed it would be done at around 1/3 the time (40-60Minutes)
