DVD Backup software

It seems everyone is releasing DVD copy software, and I was wondering wich one to get.
What I want to do is copy my DVDs to DivX CDs. I've been reading reviews about DVD Copy Plus, and it seems it only supports VCD (Mpeg) or SVCD (Mpeg-2). I saw that Intervideo has one to, that does support DivX compression.

I'm not planning on playing the movies in standalone players, just in my PC.

What is the diference between SCVD and DivX? Wich one has better quality?

I don't mind if the movie takes up 1.4GB (2 CDs), I just want the best possible video and sound quality. I also need to be able to select wich audio track and subtitle to rip.

DIvx is way, way better then VCD. VCD is for playing in set top boxes.. Very bad.

Check out vcdhelp.com for detailed tutorials...

A little better then VCD but not much. Some set top boxes can play them too. Don't bother with them though. Use XVID to encode into divx for the best quality.

Best Guide

It produces the best rips I've seen and very easy to follow.

Thanks for the link, but I'm looking for a easy to use package (one of those 3 steps programs).
