I've done the google search and all the recommended programs fail to work for me. Most results seem to be 2-4 years old.

DVD styler comes up with "dependancies that couldn't be resolved." Haven't managed to get it installed. Qdvd-author seems to open and may actually function but it won't do my AVI files. Need to convert them to MPEG or something? ManDVD seems to be KDE only and I'm using gnome.

I've also tried getting DVDFlick to work using Wine but the text is unreadable and it hangs whenever I add a title. Is there anything that is as slick as DVD Flick for Linux?
