dvd authoring

i am a friend of Erics' and he said you guys know all.
I have a number of dvd's which I am putting on my hard drive and burning backups of. What I need to know is how can I take portions of each, save them, and then put those portions on one dvd together. I am using dvd shrink and ulead for the backup.

Make sure you are using the newest version of DVD-shrink v3.2 because you can't do this with anything before v3.0
