DVD Authoring/Photo Slideshow software?

I need some software that can make DVD slideshows from photos for my mom.

I have her set up with Picasa for her digital camera and she is set on matching sound to her photos to make a DVD. Over the summer I used windows movie maker and she loved what I made. Problem is windows movie maker is complete garbage. I need something simple and effective, any recommendations?

I just built one for my uncle using Photo Story 3 for the presentation and converted it to DVD with DVDSanta.

He was very happy with it.

Thanks, that program almost works.. but do you know of a complete solution that wil burn to DVD from within the software? She has got to be able to do this on her own.

I use Proshow Gold. Not exactly cheap (free) but I've made several DVDs from my photos and it worked well.
