DVD at geeks, is this one quiet?

it is about 34bucks. I do not mind the speed, I am only concern about the noise, is this running quiet?
I hate my TB 1.4 GHz system, it is too noisy.

It's Samsung. I'd be more worried about how long it'll last. Seen many a Samsung hard drives die.
