DV Editing help!!!

Ok, I have a Pyro card and I want/need to use Premiere 5.1 to edit it. Since Premiere can only use like what AVI-2 video or something and Videostudio won't rip AVI-2 or whatever it is. Anyone have a program that will? (I use to have one). Thanks!! I need to this for class......any help will be rewarded!!!

Unfortunately, I don't know the AVI-2 format you're referring to. You're not talking about MPEG2, by chance?

If you want a powerful all around editor and capture utility, by all means grab VirtualDub. With it you can capture to any format for which you have a codec. Or you can set it up as a frameserver to TMPGEnc for encoding MPEG2 streams.
