Dust sucks

Ok, I can't stand dust at all but my room must be the motherload of all dust in the world. I recently bought one of those air cleansers with a hepafilter/ionizer and I leave it on high ALL day long yet still dust. If dust was gold I would be rich, thats how much dust my room gets. I think it has something to do with my walls? I have old walls... I think they have 'horse hair' or something in them for insulation?? Anyways, I'm currently dusting once a week as well as running this air cleanser and still getting dust, just wanted to share my pain. Anyone else have or hate dust the same as me?

If you have floor vents check to see if there is crap in them. A lot of dust and trash will get kicked in them when they are building the house, so the crap just get's airborne when the air comes on. Get a vacuum with a nice long hose attatchment and ream that sucker out.

Dust is the last thing I worry about. Unless it's when I'm working on a PCB or a computersystem which must be able to run 24/7 for a couple of years without any serious maintenance =)

Hell yea, Dust is like Abandoned Base for Quake1, its just perfect no matter how many times you play it.

I have dust like you wouldn't believe too. Every once in a while I vacuum out under the bed, there's a whole colony of dust bunnies down there. The house is old like yours with old horse hair plaster walls.

Damn I figured it was that horse hair crap :S. I had someone mention it before but I wasn't 100% sure.

Speaking of dust bunnies, I get THE biggest dust bunnies inside my computer case because I leave the side off. I vacume them up and they come right back lickity split.

skace, I know what you mean and it is very annoying. I have air purifier in every room and I still get a ton of it. Even next to the darn things!

Try to leave a bucket half full or water or try to increase the humidity in your room. I've heard that will help the dust problem.
