With my new PC built up, for a while, I was struggling to find out the ultimate solution to dust-reduction......And I just dicovered a perfect solution to this problem. I bought an Air Purifier powered by HEPA technology for a 20'x20' room. Btw, my room is 15'x15' appx.

I have a P-4 2.2 GHz machine as noted in my signature. The CPU has a fan, alone with the rest of 9 fans inside my Lian-li case. My previous experience tells me that a dust-reduction device is absolutely needed, since after 3-yr-use the CPU of my old PC is covered with dust all over, I could hardly see even what the CPU looks like.

Using the Air Purifier for the last month, it is very easy for me to notice that all of the fan windows in the back of the case are not covered my dust anymore.
My PC case: Lian-li PC 70 (5 big windows+3 small windows)
I have the Air Purifier on 24/7 in medium mode.

I got inspired about this after talking with one of my friends working at a hospital. After a quick research, I found out that all most all hospitals use Air Purifiers to keep air clean. Of course, this also applies to semi-condutor factories as well.

Anyhow, I think my PC deserves some clean air, and I did the right thing. Any furthur comments/suggestions? Thank you.

WRONG! What this will cause is a massive amount of dust build up WITHIN the confines of the case which will case and wreck havoc on your computer's hardware. Soon, this dust will appear on your monitor and your desktop will look dusty with dust building up on all the icons. The only way to get rid of this dust is to clean your harddrive. Now open the B*tch up and get cracken. Make sure to lightly dust your hardrive's surface with steel wool. If this doesn't help use an oversized cat and lightly dust the harddrive with monsier kitty's fur.

And Enjoy :)

Okay...you have ten fans??? Isn't that massive overkill for a P4 system? Where are you directing all this air?
