Vac gently with a soft brush attachment, then use a 1" soft paint brush to loosen tightly attached dust while vaccing area. Only then use compressed air to blow out inaccesable areas. Without cleaning everything you can before blowing just re-arranges much of the dust, not to mention the surrounding room.
