duron800 with chrome orb questions

Duron 800
Chrome Orb
128 meg PC133 RAM
WinME

Now it runs at about 33/34 Celsius with no load but with the load it jumps up to anywhere from 53-71 Celsius. I'm going to try some thermal compound on it but I was wondering for any other options or opinions on what to use...

I think you really need thermal compound. Get some arctic silver II.

33/35C no load??? that is one cool cpu!!! my case temp usually run at 33/35c!

Huge difference between idle &amp; full load. Where u get the temp reading from?

If it is from the bios, get a better HSF and lapped w/ ASII. Seems that the CPU cooling on ur sysytem is not good.
