My Duron 600 as never been OC'd untill I started a few days ago. If I up the voltage it runs to hot. I have had it up to 1.775/1.80 and the temps get up to 46C idle 52C full. I don't like them this high. I need to get a backup chip before I run that hot. The best setting I have had so far is FSB@105,multi@8X,Vcore@1.675/1.70,VIO@3.56, for 840MHZ. I may just stop there untill I can get something better than this Chrom Orb. I also had it at 850 with FSB@100 but I have better overall performance with the FSB@105. Vcore 1.85 is as high as this board will go and I really don't want to mod it. I have probably got it as good as it can get with my current setup. I think the memory is my biggest hold up.
SigKill: I took that pink pad off my cooler and cleaned it to bear aluminum when I bought it and put on thermal grease. I am not to familiar with the Abit boards. I hear though they are picky about the FSB. If I were you I would use the rear window defrost kit on the L1 bridges. Looks like you have decent components, I would think you could get a 1000 out of it, but probably drop the FSB@100. If you are doing what I think you are doing you are trying to get 8.5X with FSB@105???? But it wont exept 8.5X. That is odd!!
