Duron with 150W PSU possible?

Got a uATX case that I need to build a replace/upgrade system in it (basically new MB, CPU, Memory). Original board was a Socket7 with K6-2 475 (toasted). PSU is 150W - the 3.3V is rated @ 10A max (33W). The only active vent is the PSU fan (grill is above CPU).

Othere than going back to a K6-2/3/+ system, there is the option of putting a Celery Chip & MB, which I'm trying to avoid. Any idea if a Duron will work? (say, 600 MHz to keep the heat down) Prices of the combo Duron is similar to K6-2 combo.

Which in that case ... can I use a Duron 800MHz and under-clock it to 600-ish to keep the heat down? AMD site has a K6-2 550 rated at 25W max thermal power, whilst a Duron running @ 600MHz has a typical/Max thermal power of 24.5W/27.4W.

Suggestions please!

it may be theoretically possible but I personally feel that it's a non starter!

Ive been running a 800 Duron for a few weeks now in a Enlight mATX case with a 150 watt PSU with total stability!
Ive also run a 700 T-Bird in this rig with no probs.
Despite what everyone says, u can do this, as i have found out by TRYING
The rig has a burner, SBLive, GF2MX, NIC and 2 Dimms FYI.
The 150 watt PSU is rated as +5v=15A, +12v=3A, -12V=0.5A, +3.3V=12A, +5VSB=1.5A.

You can try it. Remember, that AMD has approved some 145 Watt Power Supplies on their website for Durons. If you're running a mATX board, I don't think you'll have a problem. No need to get an 800 and underclock it.
