This may be a stupid question,

how do I clean off the old pencil marks that I put on to connect the golden bridges?
and...
Should I be concerned if they arent perfectly cleaned off?
 
yeah eraser worked for me....I used a "new" eraser that had a fairly defined edge.....and tried to be gentle
