I dont think that the durons are nearly as picky, mainly because you can overclock by using the clock multiplier instead of the fsb.
I am using some generic PC133 that I got from infotech (federal way, wash.) its ok stuff, doesnt do so well in a P3 overclock, but I am running it on my duron 600@950 and it scorese very, very high on the sisoft sandra memory benchmarks.
I think I spent 108 dollars, so it can be comapred to the mushkin and corsair stuff. Those types of ram are of course, the best. You should really think of that mushkin ram as an investment. The lifetime warranty is worth the exrtra 30 dollars.
Be careful with generic, the only reason I plugged where I bought my ram is because it has infineon chips.
I would highly recommend swimming with the big fish and getting some mushkin if you are planning on stretching the FSB to the limit and trying to hit 1G or more...
