Ok - I'm building a computer for my (non-overclocking) sister, and I've decided to build it around the duron 700. What is the best stable, yet economical motherboard? Bear in mind that she will probably never even open the case, much less tweak the BIOS settings. All suggestions are appreciated.

Go with the MSI K7T Pro. Its stable, cheap, and stable. No OC features though, but that's no prob for you.

I was going to ask about recommendations for an inexpensive motherboard for a non o/c socket A also. Does everyone agree that MSI K7T Pro is good stable, reliable mobo? Anyone using one now that can give more info?
Where is the best place to get one?

4 of the 9 AnandTech servers are using the K7T Pro! :D

I am not a good source to tell you where to get the board though.

Darn,

The MSI K7T Pro is a good board. If I were to make a build that wouldn't be OCed, that would be the one that I would go with. Its not the fastest, but its stable, easy to get along with, and cheap too. Also MSI, which is usually a good thing.
