Blue core != Copper
The color is only indicative of the polishing method. There really is no way to tell as fab25 may have adopted the same polishing method as the fab30.

Well according to a report from firing squad (I think) that the Durons are not made in Dresden...I was just wondering since there are conflicting reports from hocp and firing squad.
Anyone out there ever o/c one of these blue durons yet? Can you fill us in on performance of the blue duron?

Hi,
I posted before stating that I have a blue duron, its a week 23 unlocked. It's a 650 and so far I've gotten up to 900 stable, won't try more until my 3rd harddrive comes so that I can load my new OS on it. But I saw the article on WDsoft.com and it states that the blue is stable at 927 while the green they had went up to 897 or so, so the ones they had the blue was better by 30, which could mean something or it could mean nothing just coincidence.

My green duron hits 950 with fop32-1...
so I don't think blue duron or green duron makes any difference...

HOWEVER..bule t-bird oc a lot better than green t-bird..
I have a blue t-bird 750 and i am running at 1100 right now...
my friend's green t-bird 800 will only do 900...

still...i really doubt there are any copper duron out there...

Well....there are different side of camps on this issue. Some say that these duron were made in dresden to accommodate demand. Personally I don't really care if they are from dresden or not, I would just like to know if these durons are better o/ckers like their Tbird bros (which have been proven better o/ckers).
