Duron 950 no post?

I recently got a duron 950, used to replace my old 750..
I put processor in my Asus A7V133 and it whont post.. I pulled the memory to see if I got a memory error beep.. nothing.. so I got put in a MSI KT333 board I just got and it dosent post either.. I put the old 750 in both machines and bother POST and load without a problem..

I'm figuring FUBARed chip..

anyone have any suggestions?
 
I would get a refund for the 950 and since you have mobo's capable of overclocking, pencil the L1's on that 750 and run it@ 900-950 with a higher FSB :Q😀
 
well as this is for a Friends board and not mine I will not overclock the chip..
I gave the chip back to the seller, hes going to try it out.. and if it dosent work.. hes going to try to RMA it..

its weard.. the chip looks fine and I never ran the system without a Heatsink on it.. and I was grounded.. and suposidly the chip worked before..
