Got this system up and running great. The only problem I have is that it will not read from burned CD's. I have a bunch of my files CD-R's and had to network my laptop so I could use the CD-ROM. When I put a CD-R in any one of my three drives It just spins and eventually starts to work, but then I get CRC errors. These disks work fine in other CD-ROM's and DVD drives. Any ideas? Thanks.

Anyone have any ideas here? Just a follow up, I did install the 4in1 drivers and that did not make a difference.

You're not making any sense. Are you using the networked cdrom drive on the laptop or are there 3 cdrom drives on the FIC computer?

I have a 32x CD-ROM, and an old 2x,2x,8x CD-RW in the computer. I also have an old 40x CD-ROM that actually reads at about 4x that I attempted to get the data with. On my laptop I have a dvd drive, I shared the laptop's DVD drive after hooking both computers up to an ethernet hub. Then I was able to transfer the files but I don't want to have to do this all the time. I should be able to read CD-R's. I tried to send an email to FIC support but the site keeps having an error when I click submit. :)

Riverat, I see you prefer asus but I just bought this one. I am not about to go buy a new motherboard to replace a 4 day old system upgrade. :)
