I'd stay away from it. If you're looking for a decent-performing low cost heatsink, that is fairly quiet, look at the taisol cek733092.

Thanks for the info, MW2. I didn't know the Vantec was that bad. I'll take a look at the Taisol. I'll keep using the Vantec until I get the new HSF.

Its not that it is "that" bad, but if you're out to buy a new one, i'd say taisol over any of the other cheap socket-a heatsinks.

If you already have one, and its running fine, then you have no real reason to upgrade.
