I have a nice Tbird 750 System but find myself upgrading it constantly - partly in thanks to this site. What to do with the leftover parts ? Build my wife an AMD system. If you are looking to build another AMD system and aren't planning on overclocking it - this is not a bad deal. The MOBO is from ECS (Elite) - Tom's Hardware recently gave it a pretty good review. Search Pricewatch - MOBO Combos - Duron 700. You'll find the Combo for $137 at Micropro.com - it's more expensive at their site - so call em and tell them it's a pricewatch deal.
It's got 5 PCI Slots + AGP + Built in sound and a built in temperature meter that can shut down the system and save the processor if things get too hot. No ATA100 - who cares. Most folks here may not be interested in it cause it's not overclocker friendly. I'm not looking to overclock - just trying to build a less expensive 2nd AMD PC.

It it just me that hates dealing with vendors who have "pricewatch only prices if mentioned via phone-in"?

Actually if you go to their website via Pricewatch - they have a very brief Pricewatch welcome screen that allows you to place a web order with them and leave a comment about the Pricewatch price and they will adjust the order to the Pricewatch price - no phone call necessary. The individual prices of these items on their site are $83 for the MOBO and $70 for CPU + HS + fan - total $153 - so Pricewatch saved me $16. I did call Micropro.com's toll free number to order this - no hassle. Here's another review Rolotech

Bump - saw the thread with the auction for the Duron 700 - figured this is a cleaner deal
