167FSBx12 @ 1.5v mobo ECS K7VTA3-333 V5

and I paid only 41 for this cpu from zipzoomfly.com LMAO, was googlegear.com btw they had a name change.
I say it is comparable to XP2400 1900mhz...The temperature so far is 65c idle, i find this to be a disbelief because the heatsink isn't even hot at all, something wrong with temperature sensor on mobo.
Anyway DDR400 is onthe way, i plan to take this sucker to at least 2.2ghz, 185FSBx12 @ 1.5v
which would be comparable to XP3000

If those temps are anywhere near accurate that CPU won't be lasting long when you try to get to 2.2.

Yeah, they are good chips. Getting 2070 from my 1.6 Duron @ stock voltages on a Micro-ATX NF2 board. Use it in my HTPC.

you probably installed the heatsink the wrong way, make sure you install it properly. there's no way it should be 65c idle.

just because the heatsink is not hot doesn't mean u are cooling the chip well. as mentioned, you may not be making good contact with the cpu core.
