Well I ordered it.For the price is probably isnt an xp2800.Ill let you know what i get when it comes Tuesday.By then deal will probably be dead.
 
Being that it's a KT266a board, isn't this an SDRAM board?

BTW.. I think Fry's B&M was selling this combo for $40 today.

The thing that bites about having a Fry's in the Chicago suburbs now is that I have to pay tax on Outpost orders. 🙁. I don't know if it's that hot of a deal for me at $60 shipped with tax, especially if I don't really need it.

I would call before ordering that one. Extremely sketchy on the description, but if it prooves to be an 2800+ for 50 bucks that is an awsome deal! The mobo is just a plus.

I got this deal at the City of Industry (CA) Fry's for 39.99. It's a Duron 1.6Ghz with a PCChips M811LU motherboard. The motherboard only has two DDR RAM slots.
 
I grabbed this deal in Downers Grove IL today for $39.99 it was a Duron 1.6 bare chip and a PCchips M811 LU Motherboard. I clocked the chip to 158 (no voltage adjustments onboard) and it took off and is running as we speak with a generic 512 Pc2100 stick of Ram and a 128Mb GeForce 5200. Econbox at best but I will find a good home for it.

The line was from the front regesters to the back of the store If there were 10 more people in line I would have been standing outside.

Approx total time in line 38 Minutes

I grabbed some other stuff and a friend came along and grabbed some bargains so it was well worth the wait.

Duron 1.6 is a gem~! Many report that this processor runs at 2.0, easy.
 
I got this back in Dec/Jan--the mobo is nothing to write home about, and that's being kind. If $ weren't so tight, I'd jump on one of the Sempron w/mobo deals.
