About once every 5 hours during a gaming session, my computer comes into an issue. The screen goes black and the fans turn up. I can still hear sounds from Team Speak, but I cannot talk back, and it does not appear that I can make any input. It seems like the only solution is to hold the power button down. I think this is either the video card or the power supply, but I really don't know how to test what it could be.

My specs:

Processor: Intel i7 920

Mobo: Asus P6T

Power Supply: Corsair CMPSU-750TX 750W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139006

Video Card: Radeon HD 4890
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127427

RAM: OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227365

SSD : Intel 520 SSD
HDD : 4TB+3TB+1TB+1TB

Any help troubleshooting would be great! My power supply is still under warranty, so I have been thinking it may be worth it to send it out. I would have to pay for shipping, so I am a bit reluctant.

If it only crashes during games, I would run IntelBurn test for a few hours and see what happens. If it doesn't crash, it's a pretty good bet the video card is your problem.

I ran IntelBurn overnight at maximum, and it did not crash. I guess I'll be buying a new video card soon. Thanks for the help guys!
