so spend 50 bucks and you won't have to worry about the shipping?

Thats what I did. Shipping is too much unless you are spending $50. then it is zero!. I ordered a bunch of AA and AAA, split 'em three ways between me an a couple of friends.

I ordered a pretty large quantity of these to split between friends/relatives... they work great...

I've got about 20 extra AA and 8 extra AAA if anyone's interested...

$6.50 shipped for 4 AA ($5 for each additional 4)
$6 shipped for AAA ($5 for each additional 4).

Payment via paypal or billpoint... shipping within 24 hours of payment...

Later!

so can anyone attest to the quality and performance of these batteries, compared to the bydusa batteries? i'm thinking about buying a bunch, but i'm wavering between the duracells and the byds..

I got those Dynacharge AAA and bunch of AA from MCM. I have charged and used some of them and I like them. The quality seems to be at least as good as the Panasonic. They also seem to last quite a long but I have not done any specific measurements.

Dynacharge packaging and overall construction is excellent.

They are clearly Duracell 1800mAh batteries. I would expect them to be decent, but no one is really going to know until they have been through a couple hundred cycles.

I ordered 12 batteries from them, and my order was listed under "Past Orders", but they never sent me any invoice/confirmation at all. I e-mail them about it but they didn't respond. They haven't shipped anything yet, either (it's been over a week).
This vendor is a little quirky as noted in this thread. They don't quote you shipping charges before you confirm your order and they don't send email confirmations either. Even so, many customers say they are just fine. This thread in this forum has some posts about them, and I got what I know about them from there. There's a few posts from me about them (MCM) in that thread. That price (.89) looks great, and I figure it may well be worth a little risk for it. Myself, I decided I don't need NiMH AA's... HTH

just got a batch of AA batteries, so if anyone wants some, PM me or email me at kwu@ucsd.edu. i'll be charging the 84 cents for each, plus exact shipping (i think i'll use the media mail padded envelope thingies, unless u guys think there's a better and cheaper way), plus 3 bucks for gas/time/etc..

7 bucks for shipping?? RAPE!

I don't think thats so outta whack ........ anything USPS is close to 4.00 and UPS Ground with tracking is like 5-6 bucks. So it doesn't seem like rape... A bit high but certainly not rape.... Maybe some unwanted groping!
