I went through the whole process of registering and getting ready to check out and then at the last page they want you to click "submit order" BEFORE they tell you shipping. Here is the message at the bottom of the page:

"Shipping cost is determined after your order is packed for shipping and will be shown on your invoice. Please note: Sales tax will be added to orders from OH, NV, CA and MN."

yeah right... like I want to see $30 shipping costs for 15 batteries.

I have bought from MCM electronics for a very long time. I started buying TV tubes and tranisistors in the 70's. They are not a fly by night company. Yes, they do not post the shipping charge until they ship the order. No inflated charge, just normal shipping.

The flyer I received in the mail yesterday prominently listed Duracell NiMH batteries. If the brand is different then the flyer they sent is in error.

Any normal NiMH charger will charge these batteries.
 
I ordered 12 batteries from them, and my order was listed under "Past Orders", but they never sent me any invoice/confirmation at all. I e-mail them about it but they didn't respond. They haven't shipped anything yet, either (it's been over a week).
 
Same thing happened to me. I ordered on Thursday and I have recieved the package today via UPS ground. I pooled with people at work, and got free shipping.

My email query was replied after a day with the UPS tracking number. Company seems to be legit, they have a full coloured around 20 pages flier that came in the box. Haven't tested any batteries though, but they seem better than the Nexcell that I bought on eBay !

And I forgot to mention.

I ordered 38 AAs and it cost me $0.84 each
and 25 AAAs cost me $0.75 each

I think prices go still lower if you buy > 100 nos.




 
I've ordered from MCM a few times and the only complaint I have is about their website - it sucks as bad as most of their competitors. However, their big print catalog makes up for it and does not suck. They don't fsck up my orders and they arrive reasonably quickly. Shipping rates are ok IIRC.
 
Shipping was $7.60 for 18 batteries. Total was $22.75.

I guess I should have bought $50 worth and got the free shipping.🙂
 
these seem slright especially for the logitech mx700 mice. I already got some enerzigers at target 🙁 even though they were 1850 mAh

should be able to get a shipping answer from them straight away as do most places that list a phone number...
 
Sorry about that.

Anyhow, this is why MCM can't tell you the shipping costs...

The last time I checked, they manually have someone take the internet orders and enter them in their systems BY HAND. Anyhow, I will also vouche for these guys as they are pretty good. I salvage too many of my electronics because of what they carry.
 
received mine two days ago

after ordering.. THEY HAVE NOT

1. contacted me in anyway about the order,
2. charged shipping of $9 for ground, battery was $8.50 shipping is more .. jeezus


i might as well dispute this ..
