Umm... there two parts of this whole thread that are confusing me: First is why you think those of us who dislike Limbaugh's politics and political ramblings would a) necessarily like Bryant Gumbel or b) in any way consider him fit to make commentary on anything related to politics, social conditions, or race relations; and second is why RightIsWrong seems intent on lending support to your premise/argument.
Bryant Gumbel no more speaks for those who think that Rush Limbaugh is an idiot than Kanye West speaks for those who think the federal response to Katrina was woefully inadequate. All three of the above, I'm happy to oblige you in saying, are imbeciles who need to learn the wisdom of the saying that is variously attributed to Twain and Lincoln: "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt."
Do I think Gumbel should resign or be fired? I don't watch him and don't much care either way... I suppose it'll come down to whether or not the idiotic things he says generate ratings. And yes, I feel the same way about Rush Limbaugh; and I felt the same way about Jimmy the Greek when he put both feet in his mouth, too.

I have evidence in this thread as to the answer to my question. You assume to know what the answer to yours is.
Thats 100% the reality. Its cost $100's of dollars to participate in Hockey, snoboarding, skating, etc. It costs nearly $0 to participate basketball or running.
I can't help but remember the dailey show during the GOP convention, when Samantha Bee would ask people, "Have you had a chance to meet a black person yet?"
