I need an easy test to see wheather my motherboard is at fault or my psu. This is a little background on my problem;
While listening to music on winamp, the sound stared to have some static, and after a few seconds only static. Then my system rebooted by itself afterwhich it did not load past the initial configuration screen. Then I tried manually rebooting, and it wouldn't even start. At that point i thought the psu was dead. Then a few minutes later it rebooted but nothing came on the screen. The CPU and case fan worked but nothing on the screen. I removed my video card and tested it on another comp and it worked. Now my question is, could my motherboard only not receive power while all the other components work (which would mean that my PSU is at fault) or is my motherboard at fault because i'm not getting video on the screen?
Thanks
Ajay
