The double down had a far worse nutrition label compared to these things.

One of these wont kill you...but a double down probably will.

The nutrition facts on this are surprisingly decent.

The Double Down isn't even as horrible as people think it is. Tons of sodium of course but similar to other chicken sandwiches from fast food joints.

Looks like they are designing their menu based off tips from this site:

The jelly donut one doesn't seem as disgusting. The glaze on the other stuff seems gross, but I have had a deli sandwich with fruit preserves before.

And sriracha.

And it was surprisingly fucking excellent. So sugar can go with meat, but it needs fruit. :)hmm:)

egg's when combine with bacon work with sweet, I ate this at a place called Slaters 50/50 and every single element just fit.

'twas 3 Pancakes with fried chicken strips, bacon, bacon infused country gravy & a fried egg. All drenched in maple syrup. Fuck how it looks, it was delicious, eating it changed my life.

I have no nutritional info on it, but I can only assume it's probably higher in calories than this DND sammich.

Looks yucky, donuts and meat together?, horrible idea. Speaking of DD the ones around here don't even make the donuts at the stores anymore, there shipped over from Orlando (75mi away), I went there one morning around 8:30AM for some coffee and a coffee roll, "sorry, those are all gone sir", WTF!,"all our donuts come from Orlando on a truck", great, OK I can see where it's probably cheaper to mass-produce them but when a store runs out of something, that's it. Sadly, the stores still have all the equipment to make them but refuse to hire donut makers. I have since found a local coffee shop that makes 'em on site AND they are way better than DD so that's where I go if I'm having a donut craving..

The doubledown had pretty good macros for anyone on ketogenic diets. I would occasionally treat myself to one during my weight loss phases and i'm still alive. I was kind of disappointed when it was discontinued.

Heh...same. When I was doing that, I'd bring one back to the office once in awhile and people would say "I thought you were into eating healthy?"

I've given up trying to explain ketogenics and carbs to people. Let them continue with their low-fat instant mac&cheese.

If I had to guess, I would have guessed that no Dunkin Donuts make their own donuts.

They used to, at each store. Some dumbass bean-counter convinced the CEO's that making them at a donut "factory" and distributing them would cut back on labor costs and save $$ which is true, what they DIDN'T consider is the pissed-off consumer who arrives at 8:30AM and finds no coffee rolls left and the rest of the donut selection depleted badly, said customer now goes elsewhere for donuts, a penny-wise, pound-foolish decision.

I tried one of these saturday morning. The glazed donut was far too flimsy to support holding it with the bacon/egg. When you pick it up the whole sandwich bends in half. The donut and bacon both tasted great. The egg looks nothing like in the picture. It looked/felt/tasted like an old flattened piece of foam. It was disgusting. After taking one bite, I took the egg off and just ate the donut and bacon.

You also lose all chances of getting a fresh from the fryer donut. It's like winning the lottery, but you sometimes did win. Now there's no chance of winning.

The one thing I loved about Krispy Kreme was their fresh glazed donuts. Let them sit for 15-30 min and they were inedible. First thing in the morning fresh off the conveyer belt thingy they were tasty.
