For those of you who tried both Dungeon Siege 3 and Daggerdale (I know warcrow did), which did you enjoy more? I've got a friend coming over this week and I'd like to get in some coop action. DS3 is on sale for $40 right now (Amazon/BestBuy), so I might snap it up, but of course Daggerdale is much cheaper than that if it's decent. I am trying out both demos, just looking for extra opinions.

Probably Dungeon Siege 3 but only if you dont take it too seriously since your coop partner is tied to your game. It is fun though!

I have both games and while Daggerdale was a fun quick game, Dungeon Seige 3 co-op is really fun. It works well as long as you don't care about the partner getting a saved character with their only loot and drops.

So how does the saving work? If you are playing local co-op on the same Xbox, what happens to the second character when you save?

If I remember correctly, your coop partner is tied to your save--your guy--and therefore cannot be used anywhere else. So if your partner gets some great loot, it can only be used within that game.

I just wanted to say that my friend and I have been playing DS3 and having a good time with it. We were amused to get the "Nerds Hate Sunlight" achievement the other night. We just beat Rajani, she was a bit of a pain.

I just picked this game up last weekend, and am also enjoying it. Finished up a single player campaign as Lucas, and just started another play through as Katrina. I have not tried the multi-player mode yet, but probably will this weekend.
