Dumped all my stalks last night...

Went to the vegetable crisper to get some salad mix out and found out we had two rotten, borderline moldy bags of celery stalks sitting in the bottom of the crisper along with an old bag of lettuce and some nasty carrots. Totally cleaned out the crisper which left us with 2 cukes, a good bag of salad, and some carrots.

You should check out your crisper drawer sometimes. It can be a major source of smell in the fridge.

Not a parody, I really did do this last night. Bought new garlic and cheese croutons on the way home and bacon bits and everything. Used turkey that expired on August 2nd, but still smelled good. Boiled some eggs, got the salad out, noticed the grand funk in the crisper, and cleaned it out.
