Dumbass Chevrolet Avalanche *Switch* commercial...or is it?? *Update* Now with commerical

You know the commerical; couple of jackasses are bouncing around off-road in an Avalanche and the passenger says to the driver, "Hey Hey, wanna switch?" Then the driver says sure, stops the truck, then gets out...b/c he thinks the passenger wants to "switch" the Avalanche into a different cargo mode...

Now here is where the logical passenger would too get out of the car and walk over to the driver's side and get inside to drive. But while the driver gets out and starts doing the switching crap with the Avalanche, the passenger just sits there like the dumb sh!t that he is. Then he has the nerve to get pissed when the driver gets back in the driver's seat??!!

Dumb passenger, dumb commerical.

OK, now for my medicine😀
 
nah, the one where dude is in the ski town is far worse. i know i'd be sitting there in shock if dude got out and started opening the back of the truck up.
 
Dumb commercials for a cool truck.

At least they aren't as bad as the Mac "switch" commercials. 😉

 
Yeah, both commercials suck. I assume that the jackass-factor of the driver in both ads were by design. They're almost as annoying as the wise guy in the Subway commercials.
 
But at the same time this commercial did exactly what was intended, to stay in people's memory for some time 🙂

But the works truck commercial is the Dodge Ram one with two arseholes driving around kickin up dust with other trucks behind, blinding them. Then they come to the Grand Canyon and make a hard left, sayin "hope no one was behind us!" Like, you fsckers...you just killed people!!!!

And what's with that Mt. Dew commercial with the guy in his GTO doin a flip at 100mph + and grabbin a can of Dew outta some guy's hand...ON A BUSY STREET. I didn't see a disclaimer...what now I can go out and buy a can of Dew and drive like a maniac, kill someone and sue Dew/Pepsi for millions cuz of their negligence?

I know! I saw that and was like "... WTF!?!? :Q" Did anyone notice in that commercial that I think those two guys are the same ones from the Avalanche commercial? Did DaimlerChrysler buy them over or something?

you made a thread to say the Avalanche one is a dumbass commercial?? uhhhh I don't even own a TV and I have YET to see a SINGLE Dodge or Toyota commercial thats even as good as being dumbass 😉

98% of all auto commercials just suck.


Speaking of that Dodge commercial, the even dumber thing is the Ram has the worst milage and acceleration of all 4 of the trucks in that commercial, the GM and Ford would be neck and neck with the 5.3 vs 5.4 with toyo in second thanks to it's extremely light weight and Ram, with it's lead coated chassis and iron everything motor in last 😱

Hemi is still just a name to me, I've never been to a drag strip and seen a Hemi was doing better or even keeping up with some of the Magnum setups I've seen.


BTW is the peeing from the laughing when the Tranny drops to the ground in 35K miles :Q 😱

And that 345 HP / 375 lb-ft Hemi is NO JOKE. 😀
 
Yeah it should provide great competition to the cheaper parts, less overhead, more aftermarket, easier upgradeable LQ9 345HP / 380lbs ALL Z06 parts BOLT right on 😀

The tranny's are no joke, either is the NP-242 and the knuckles on the IFS on the 2500-3500 series. You can't read about it, but see it in real life at you're local garage.

actually it is a joke till the day I actually see them in real 1500 trucks on the road, the guys who have em in 2500's are just morons.
