Dumb WU question....

Ok...someone help the noob here plz.

I'm running the CLI version and I would like to know how to tell it to download more than one WU at a time instead of downloading just one and then coming home to find that it can't connect to the net....which I shouldn't expect from a dos window program anyway....

Where do you change the cache in the CLI version ? I could be crunching 4-5 WU's a day at least instead of 1 due to not being around to connect to the net and sending and then getting a new one. I've searched around and the guide I found mentions setting the cache size but that seems to be for the Windows version. What am I missing...

Thanks and sorry for the dumb question ! It has to be something obvious I'm overlooking.

Here are the instructions from Smoke's site.

Seti Driver will cache WUs you can either have it automatically or manually transmit.

Duh ! Thanks Hyperfocal. I must be getting dumb in my old age. I had read that but was thinking it applied to the GUI version only. I just downloaded 4 WU's and crunching them now.

I may have to fire up my XP2400 and start it downloading and crunching before bed !

Edit:...man...you folks are fast on the draw....I sat for 1 min and hit refresh and had an answer....kinda like those Progressive Insurance commercials...hehe

Thanks a bunch !

Well....I mananged 7 WU's in about 7-8 hours last night with a little help from the spare / XP2400. Still have one WU out of that to upload but not sure if will get done before heading out to door.

I'm averaging about 2.5hrs per WU with my sig rig since I started using the CLI version.

Thanks for the help and for the welcomes !

peace ! .....time to brew a good pot of Columbian coffee !!! yummmeeee
