Dumb question

What is the newest version of SetiDriver, and where do I get it?

I have seen many different versions on Google, and I am not sure which is the one I should be using. I am presently using 3.03. Is that the newest?

You would think for a guy with 40,000 units I would have asked this earlier.....or just know it.

Oh well for me.

The 3.03 version of the Seti CLI is the fastest version. I have heard that there is a slight security problem with it, but I run it anyway. As for Seti Driver, I don't think there are multiple versions.
Anyway, go here to pick up the CLI and the
Seti Driver.

Hope this helps,

Yeah there are multiple versions of SD if you include old versions.

I don't know which version Smoke has on his site (probably the latest) but the latest version is 1.6.4.3 ,this is recognised by it having a check box to 'force idle priority' (just below the 'low' priority option)which is a god send with some programs🙂.
Pitty that option couldn't be done earlier on in SETI classic's life.

Inccidently I notice that the SD site doesn't show that option on its GUI interface page!.

Btw the SETI CLI v3.03 sercurity flaw can be fixed with a simple addition to the 'hosts' text file in Windows.

P.S. No such thing as "dumb question"...

All knowledge comes from answered questions...well, most knowledge..
