Dumb Question: On P6T, which SATA port? ICH10R or JMB322?

I've looked in the book and the language for both is pretty much the same. They're both for SATA drives. Why would I use one over the other?
 
You'll get better performance off the ICH10R ports, and you won't need to deal with any drivers for the JMicron chip. The ICH10R ports are native to the board.
