I recently ordered this case from newegg.

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-144-001&depa=1

On the page it says 350 Watt powersupply. When i received the case on the box it says Pentium IV power supply and case ready. There is also a sticker on the PSU inside the case that says Pentium IV. I ordered an Asus K8V deluxe motherboard an AMD athlon 64 motherboard to go along with it. My question is if this PSU is compatible with an AMD board.
Thanks

Don't worry it will work for AMD. As long as it's an ATX PSU and the plugs fit on your mobo and your drives :) The ready for P4 means it has the 2x2 12v plug that intel said you need for P4 mobos.

AT article: 12V plug

Compdude...this is NOT a dumb question. Most of us here didn't know the answer at one time.

hey compdude ..... welcome to AT .... very helpful people here :) ... I had a very similar case and the PSU worked ok for few months and then I started getting a lot of lock ups with games .... tried different drivers and ended up getting a enermax 460W PSU and never had an issue since .... so if U have extra $$ get a quality PSU .... will go a long way ....thats my 2 cents ....enjoy UR new rig
