These are funny but UNTRUE. I agree. Please do not help keep these going by posting them.

Looks like your sarcasm meter needs some tuning.

That aside, the last three were new to me and enjoyable; true or not who cares? They're amusing.

ALl they did was marked off all of the check off boxes when they listed the home so it would show up in every search that you may try. It's just a trick they do to get attention from buyers. How about the one home that showed up when i did a serch for homes in miami and the first one on that page was somewhere near ohio! these searches are far from acurate.
There are none, i have been here 25 years and have been to homes all over the state. Moron you must belive there is a basement in the alamo too!

I could easily disprove the above, but I think I will defer to M4H's eloquence of, "SHUT THE FVCK UP".

Edit: I suppose it should be added I had lived in Florida for 15+ years, and thus have firsthand knowledge.

Where does it say that, i was looking at the same home before you posted.

I doubt you have ever been here for more than a vaction. No less spent more than a year here. When they say lower level they mean the first floor. Some homes in florida have an uppper level and that is the second story. I have been here a long time and seen hundreds of homes being built during construction booms and busts, never have any of the foundations that were dug had a basement. All homes here a built above ground level as the state building code requires.

You really are proving your stupidity. All of the bedrooms in our home are on the lower level. And there is no basement here or anywhere in my neighborhood.

Florida Building Code, draft copy for 2005, PDF format

So all of the half dozen sections in there that have regulations pertaining to basements just don't exist, huh.

Oh, and the basement repair & restoration businesses don't exist either.

The Florida Assoc. of Building Inspectors also don't know sh*t, and all that example about water seepage in the basement are nonexistant.

The advice of the Seminole County Government is also horse pucky. I mean, why say to hide in a basement if basement's don't exist?

People like you really need food poisoning.

Prior to insulting others, perhaps it would be to your benefit to have a complete (or at least, adequate) knowledge of the subject at hand. Limited experience of a few homes or one's own neighborhood unfortunately does not suffice as such.

Here is an example. I took the liberty of outlining the appropriate section in red, and showing the URL.

Rare != nonexistent.

I think you just answerd your own question with that. Basements are possible ( and I do not doubt that possiblity) but are never seen as it says. Theere are no basments here, people want them but do not have them.

This is the off topic section and anything goes. If you don't like it or are too lazy to read and ask for cliffs notes, then don't bother clicking on or responding to these threads. Just ignore it and go about your quiet little life.
true but these are kids and that's how they have fun. just don't give them the attention they want and they'll move along
they have so much energy to get a reaction out of you i swear it's like a jungle out here:Q

children, try to behave yourself we're just trying to have fun here
"puts on flame retardant suit" :cookie:

I did find those jokes pretty funny haha as I was never into this kind of things :D
