Dumb Frontpage Question

im making/updating a website for one of my classes at school. im gonna make it on frontpage and then put it all on a disk and take it to my librarian/internet lady. my links will be to the files, which are in the folders on my computer, when i burn a disc it will change the root directory and other folders, will it still work then, and then when i give it to her how does it change to internet links, instead of folders. i know how to make it i just dont want to look like an idiot when i give it to her.
 
links should be made relative to the root of the webserver (not sure how this works with a disk, maybe absolute linkes, but that is a nightmare)
