Okay, let me be the first to say:

I don't know of any idiots such as the ones we've seen on that media file. I'm about to turn 18, so i'm pretty sure i would have already witnessed such retahded acts of stupidity!

It's not that they've gotten dumber, there's just many more ways for you to hear about the stupidity (internet, TV, etc) 😛
 
Hmmm, i think they ARE getting dumber, when i was a kid we used to set stuff on fire with lighter fluid, not ourselves...
