Oooh, me like, me like!

Its definetly going to be one of those "silly" movies like Austin Power, but I think thats the point. Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse? HAR! I wonder if he'll be smokin' weed in it.
And yes Jessica Simpson is hawt! I saw the trailer tonight when I went to see Batman at the movies, which was also good.

Geez, people, just watch the new J. Simpson video and then be done with this travesty that is the Dukes of Hazzard movie!

No offense to anyone interested in this movie, but I think the casting choices were awful and as such this movie looks like complete crap. I seem to remember the dukes being fairly clever and wry people. Now we have an actor who, if not a total moron himself, is certainly cast as one, and is playing one of the lead characters. And an actress who IS a total moron.

I don't know- Willie Nelson seems perfect for the role, and Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg is a stroke of brilliance 😀

Those are decent choices, but I'm not sure they are enough to offset the stupidity that we will no doubt be inundated with from the main three dukes. I'm not so much complaining that their acting skills are lacking, I'm complaining that they seem to have chosen the actors they did with the idea that their characters will act stupidly. The trailer only reinforces this belief.
