That game looks awesome. IF you have seen the video for it, you would think its well worth the wait.

EDIT: On an semi-related note, what is Duke Nukem: The Manhatten Project?

Found this in 3D Realms site. It explains nothing about what it really is. I'm assuming that they just took the story and enemies from the first 2 games and tossed them into a basic 3d engine and sold it. I haven't seen much advertising at all for it.

What is Duke Nukem Manhattan Project?

Think Duke I and II, in a fully 3D environment with the wit and sarcasm of Duke 3D. That doesn't mean anything to you? How about Duke Nukem, aliens, weapons, babes, and lots of ass kicking? Still not enough? Click on the box art to your left for more.

The only other game in development longer than DNF, is Loose Cannon. Loose Cannon showed up at E3 1997. Heh, atleast they have a reason to be late, lets see, two different publishers, and two different development studios, and a couple restarts. Its actually going to make it, just not this year(nor will DNF), heh, maybe in 2003...

I don't think it will suck gameplay wise but it may suck graphics wise. The unreal engine has graphical bugs and I hate the lighting system, it really sucks ass even compared to quake. No area lights, its too dark, etc.. sure it can look good but only for nighttime and if the level author doesn't make creating thousands of lights for outdoor scenes.

Didn't the CEO come here or something and say it would be out on this certain date? And that date has long passed. Dunno, remember something about it.
