There is nothing in my Christian belief that says supporting the law executing people is wrong. Matter of fact, the Bible has many stories of people being executed for crimes.

ISIS likes your post and shared it

Basically then God is going to be cool with whatever China or North Korea says is state sanctioned murder too

If you continue to read the passage from Romans 13, it states that God will hold governments accountable for what they do. So, God would not be cool with what China and NK are doing.

This is a pretty good read that just rips apart the Duggars. And I must say I agree with the article wholeheartedly. The Quiverfull cult is one of the worst examples of Christianity in this nation.

Ironically Jim Bob Duggar's political platform supported the death penalty for incest. Apparently incest is only a crime if a non-Christian engages in it, if a Christian engages in it, it is a sin to report to the minister and nothing more.

On the positive side, this will certainly remove them from the limelight for good. In a year or so, they will be expunged from public awareness.

From a purely business point of view, if it keeps making money, then of course it should stay on.

From a personal point of view, I avoid programs like this like I'd avoid the ebola plague. I'd much rather watch programs that feed the mind with useful pragmatic information.

I'd even watch moldy re-runs of Gilligan's Island or Green Acres before watching any "reality" show.

Yep, THAT bad.

did we ever decide if American Pickers is reality TV? Cause I did watch that last night...

I actually love the reality shows dealing with flipping houses, remodeling houses, etc.... I am so amazed (and jealous) of the end results. It seems like they can get all the work done at 30 cents on the dollar compared to my experience. I sometimes wonder if they are lying about the actual costs.

I have watched American Pickers on occasion and found it enjoyable. Seems like a shitty way to make a living though.

American Pickers and the house flipping shows are definitely considered reality tv, but they are not real, they are staged.

For example, "Love it or Leave it" on HGTV, I've heard that they just find people that are already remodelling their house or decided to move, and then pretend that there's this big decision to be made etc.

Oh my god, I absolutely love "Love it or Leave It". That show is the absolute bomb! Gawd, I wish I could get that woman to do my house, she is fucking amazing.

Yeah, I should say that I still think the people on that show (and the Real Estate bros.) are all really talented.

I just don't think it would even be possible to do those shows unless it was staged.

Not to go off on a tangent but I thought you might find this interesting. My own home selling woes....

I purchased a home in 2002 for $195K. Last summer we moved to an area with better schools. I paid the following expenses before selling my house:

$8k for landscaping work
$12k to fix foundation issues in my basement
$2k to fix electrical wiring issues
$2k to replace concrete walk in front of house
$2k to recarpet two bedrooms

After all of that I sold the house for $175k! We needed to sell fast and we did indeed sell fast but damn that hurt like a son of a bitch.

To add insult to injury, I had to spend 50K replacing all the carpet in the new house, professionally repainting it, replacing the HVAC, fixing insulation problems, and replacing all the appliances. It amazed me the absolute lack of value I got for that $50k.

Yeah, your experience is not unusual. I bought my house in '08 for $186k. I've spent probably $20k replacing the floors, fixing the roof, replacing the entire rotted out porch. Tons and tons of repairs. I could probably get about $150k for the house now.

Oh, they're totally staged. My wife loves those shows! I love the fake outrage on the homeowner's faces when Hillary (love it or list it) tells them about some 'totally unknown' disaster in their home; lol. You bloody well know they knew about it. But she really does an amazing job. Wife really loves that show with the Texas couple that remodels a house.

Here's how to get on property brothers...

So is this the dad that put all of those babies in the baby factory, or one of the babies produced from the baby factory?

Here's the part about the adulterous woman that few people quote:

The passage states that the woman was caught in the 'act of adultery'. It seems reasonable to be caught in the act would imply that she was caught getting it on with a guy. The Mosaic law equally condemned the man as well as the woman in matters of adultery. So why wasn't the guy in question there? Based on the passage, this was a setup. Jesus responded by turning the tables on her accusers. There are valid reasons for the above take on the passage, but I'm sure I've already sent some on here into apoplectic shock, so I'll just leave it at that. If you really want to know why, feel free to ask.

Possibly you don't realize that back in Biblical times, adultery had other implications than just sexual adultery, and some were probably considered even more serious than sexual adultery.

Take wine. Remember, clean water wasn't exactly common back then, hence the dependence upon wine as a drink. You could "trust" wine to not make you sick unlike most water. Cutting, or adulterating, wine with water was more than a moral issue, it was a health issue.

So, there may not have been a man involved in the adultery and sex may not have been even involved.

Oh man...... you have to go to their facebook page. Oh my fucking God! Quote mine heaven!!!

I seriously question why this had to be told. I don't condone what took place and never would. But I seriously question the motives behind whomever it was that felt so compelled to dig up dirt and expose it. Wouldn't this be a better world for everyone if people would look for the good a person has done and spread that around, instead of looking for dirt to smear?

He has admitted to what he has done... He got help when it happened ... He told his wife about it. She forgave him... Please let this go and let his family and God handle this...

Because the are good Christian people. .just like duck dynasty. .if you love God, outreach it, preach it, teach it, this is what happens. Stop judging people. .God is the judge. .

Thank you all for being so Open and Honest. Guess what?!?! We ALL HAVE A PAST!!!! I do too. Married at 14, divorced at 17, living in sin for well 10 years. I was saved by the Grace of God and knowing I was forgiven when Jesus died for US.... May God continue to keep you blessed and May people see the Good in your family. You all make me want to be a good person. None of US are perfect, Praise God for that!!!!

People, the Duggars are People too. Let's be nice. Let's Not judge. Leave that for God!!! After all, are You perfect????

DO NOT JUDGE US MOTHER FUCKERS. It is distracting us from judging those nasty gay people!!! Good christ, this is either extremely hilarious or profoundly disturbing. I can't make up my mind.

More gold...

Praying for your family. I love the show and hope it doesn't get cancelled over this. I praise Josh for coming forward about it after it happened and for the family for getting him help. True Christ believers will forgive and unfortunately there are many who will believe everything that comes out about this regardless if it's truth or not. I continue to support this family and their show.

Um.... coming forward? HE WAS FUCKING OUTED YOU GOD DAMN MORON!

Titus 3.3-7 says "For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life." God can save anyone out of any situation, no matter what it is. There will be many people who use this situation to attack the entire Duggar family but they are blinded to the truth in God's Word. Loved your family before this news came out and l still love your family after this news came out. Praying for you all during this time!

Um..... how about some good old fashioned outrage and Old Testament justice?

it is such a shame that we live in a world that the few are out to destroy those that are chrisitians. Josh is a christian, he lives his life as a chrisitian, did he make a mistake? yes? at least he sought help, he told his parents, he got counseling, he has moved passed it, he has been forgiven. Now he has been forced to resign from his job and lose his source of income that supports his family because of the evil of some people in this world. Just so sad.

I made a little mistake and molested a bunch of little girls. Just a little slip don't you know.... Forgiveness y'all....
