Obviously this is all subjective, we all have our personal tastes. I compare this generation's pop-music to what I grew up with, and the vocals these days are just horrendous.

With that said, 1. I don't like the style of Amy's music, 2. I don't particularly like Amy's voice (it's unique sounding but not strong -- kind of like Macey Grey) - but it isn't as bad as Duffy's, and 3. I don't like that she's a crack-head.

Duffy is hardly sweet and innocent, her life reads like a trainwreck too.

Stick to Perry Como if you want family music. No one was so hard on the Rolling Stones, Van Halen and the like.
