Saw this young lady at the mall:

Purple hair
Pale white skin
White Spaghetti strap top
Black skirt and combat boots
Tattoos everywhere
Pierced ears, eyebrows, nose, upper lip, bellybutton. (Probably elswhere too.)
Looked to be about 18..... I guess.

Too weird or just right?

The sad part was she was 5 ft. 4 around 110 pounds and pretty. I felt like saying....&quot;lets go get your hair washed at the salon.&quot;
 
Too many piercings might make it difficult to kiss such a person without getting stabbed in the face.
Be sure to get a tetanus shot before smooching. 😉

I like the wild hair colors that some young girls dare to experiment with, though. I would go for a vivid burgundy if I had the nerve.
 
I live in NYC, thats pretty average amongst the younger crowd. I guess being they missed the 80s they are trying to live it somehow. People considered me a weird MOFO in the 80s. 🙂

I work at a High School, you should see some of the kids here. Wow! The strangest crowd is the one with the kids who do the back yard &quot;Pro&quot; wrestling.
 
She sounds like some of the people I've known in the past.
Funny everyone assumes things, like she has self-esteem problems and needs attention.

Hey, she's doing what every teen does, she finds a group of people who think like she does, likes the same music, the same art, etc. and she does what she can to fit into that group. And one of the things this group likes to do is go against societal norms and shock people. Doing stuff for shock value can be entertaining. It's fun watching people squirm!
 
And I bet a crowd of your friends wearing concert shirts, ripped jeans, and mocassin boots made a lot of middle-class people a little edgy!
I was a Punk Rocker for a while in the eighties. Had an orange mohawk that stood a foot off the top of my head, wore all black with black painted fingernails and an HUGE upside down cross as an earring.
We'd walk into McD's and watch whole families get up and leave! It was a blast!
Once we were down at the bluffs chasing each other with water guns and some guy there with his family called the cops. 12 cop cars and the cheif of police sorounded us, just like in the movies. They all looked pretty stupid when it turned out to be a water pistol -- and not even a real looking one either. It was shaped like a lazer gun!

Thing is, I may have looked like I just crawled out of hell, but I was just an ordinary guy underneath.
Now I'm one of those middle-class family men myself, but seeing people like that doesn't phase me because I know what they are really all about! 🙂
