Dude freaks the F out after smoking Salvia (vid)

that is quite unexpected i expected him to hit his head on the ceiling or jump onto the floor, but that....unexpected

"...This is stupid... All he's doing is giggling like an idiot I don't see what's s-

Ok, now he's doing something... Still kinda dumb.

....

HOLY F-"

I would have liked to see what happened after (also loved the girl just chilling the whole time).

Wounder what floor he was on. Broken glass + being high + falling out of a window could mean some pretty nasty stuff.

It's inevitable with any substance, even tylenol that someone would react to it dangerously. However, statistically, salvia is much safer than much of the things that are legal out there.

Yes he looks like a totally retarded deranged guy... and that guy was totally crazy and deranged to any standard of reality to a normal person. In fact, a normal person couldn't even begin to comprehend how deranged a person on salvia is. It'd be like trying to get a blind man to understand what the color blue is. But to be deranged to that degree is at the same time a truly unique experience that one may possibly learn from. And for a drug of low risk such as this one, it seems that it would do more harm than good to ban it.

For me, being totally deranged like that is like having a shirt on all your life and then finally taking it off. You wouldn't even have known you had that shirt on because you took it for granted. It's something that you've accepted as the nature of reality. When the shirt is taken off for the first time, you realize what's missing and one can truly deduce what that shirt is that we've taken for granted all of our lives.

Our consciousness is something that we take for granted. To have it really taken away from me, it let me really see what it is. And after seeing it, it made me realize how much consciousness differs between individuals. From knowing this, I feel more aware of who I am, and the consequence of that is it gives me more choices in who I want to be.

DISCLAIMER: I don't want to portray salvia inherently insightful, unlike many psychedelics. Salvia is not a drug that works on your neurotransmitters that intensifies insight. However, all experiences are up to the individual in what they want to make of it. In fact, out of my 5-6 experiences with salvia, all but that one felt like a waste of time.

Also I don't want to portray drug insights as inherently a good thing. Some insights may be maladaptive. I've had experiences where I've formed an insight while taking an issue completely out of context and that made my life very frustrating for a good period of time until I learned to put things back in the right context. But it's possible that overall, I grew from this too despite the intense frustrations.

You may see a perspective of life as A+B+C=D, and a drug insight might make you see A+H+Q=W. While both have some truth to it, but often it makes one get too focused in a narrow line of thought that distances one from reality. I think this is why psychedelics get a bad rap while hailed as mind expanding by those who use it. But from my frustrating experiences, I've also learned from it so I can put my drug insights into the right context. I think the more we understand these drugs, its usefulness to us will increase.

I've seen someone FREAK out from it as well first hand, didnt know who he was, who anyone there was, we basically had to restrain him in a room or else he would have probably ran into the middle of the road, he came back to reality in a few minutes.

Don't know how this stuff is legal, heard a lot of horror stories from users too.

The laughing part is completely legit, I've done it and basically all that happened was I laughed uncontrollably for a minute or two, couldn't talk then came back to normal. Was more or less a waste of money.

Yup he's a truly inspirational visionary. ()🙂

Can't watch the vid from here, but I will say I've tried that stuff twice. First time all I did was laugh extremely hard. 2nd time I thought I shrunk and went to the moon with my friend, who had also just did Salvia. It was extremely vivid, and for that brief period of time, I was completely disconnected from reality. My friend's basement turned into the cratered surface of the moon, and in my head I could hear 1950s era science fiction music in my head.

My two experiences were actually pretty fun, and I don't have a single bad thing to say about it. Some people react differently to it, just like every other substance out there. I have some friends that tried it and had an absolutely horrible experience. But it only lasts for about 10-15 minutes, so you come down pretty quickly.

Having said that, Salvia is the only thing I've ever tried. Never had any interest in trying weed or anything else.

They start the camera, both take a hit, guy freaks out and jumps out the window, the girl starts acting retarded, a few min later, they are calming down...

I don't think. I didn't watch the entire thing.. didn't see him complaining about it though.. by the way he jumped out of the window, i expected him to be cut pretty bad, though
