Dual XP Install? HELP!

I'm building a new computer, and I've got all the parts except for the HDD. The older PC I am on now is running Windows XP, and I would like to partition this HDD, so I can install a second version of XP. I would like to be able to swap this hard drive into my new PC and start playing around with it while I wait for my second HDD to arrive. Any thoughts?

You mean take the hard drive out of your old computer, repartition it, install windows on the new partition and put it in your new computer?

Yes, you can do that. Just make sure you don't install windows on the same partition by accident.
