Dual video cards on Asus P5Q Pro

I have an Asus P5QPro mobo and am trying to get two video cards to work (no SLI or Xfire though). I have a GeForce 9800GT in PCI-Express 2.0 slot 1 and am wanting to add an GeForce 6200 LE to PCI-Express 2.0 slot 2. However when I add the second card I get a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA error (STOP: 0x00000050). Microsoft KB suggests this may be due to faulty hardware. However either card will work fine when it is the only one installed. I have the latest 11.8206 nvidia drivers installed for the video cards and I have updated to the 1613 BIOS for the mobo.

I am likely missing something really simple but I just don't know what.

Any suggestions.

Thanks, Dave

I have been working on some other things and let this issue slide for a while. I did have quite an exchange with nvidia tech support on it but no resolution. In the end they suggested dealing with Asus but again no luck.

Anybody have any suggestions on what I might be able to do to get my two video cards working? Or where I could look for additional info to see if it will work?

Thanks

Make sure you don't have the ATI driver installed. I've run two nvidia cards (non-sli) before and they worked great. Try a few different drivers. I wonder if the fact the 9800GT is a DX 10 card while the 6200LE is a DX 9 card is causing the problem?
