Well, after a few months of thinking on the idea i've decided to go ahead and build my dual opteron/SLI gaming system.

I guess you can figure why i'm here 🙂

I'm having trouble finding a motherboard, money isnt really an issue as i've been saving to build this for quite some time.

The only SLI capable, dual opteron mb I liked was This one.

I'm just unable to settle with it, I've used tyan before and really enjoyed the product(Athlon MP).

I just want to get the best I can, so I figured i'd get some ideas before I purchased this.

I'm pretty set on a dual opteron setup, just need to piece it together.. any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Newegg has a few choices, two Tyans, an Iwill and a Supermicro. Don't expect to be able to run the Opterons at, ahem, what they're capable of running at, but should make for a nice over-the-top rig.
